This is always a difficult decision for me. I want something that's going to keep me interested but nothing so fiddly that the whole process becomes a chore.
I have decided that pinwheels are the way forward and I've found a fab tutorial on line that shows how to make them really easily. If I manage to find out how to post a link to this tutorial I will at the end of this blog

The time for procrastination is over!
Well I have been meaning to start a blog for a very long time and it would appear that today is the day!
I am just beginning to get the necessary bits and pieces together to start my long awaited Shirt Quilt.
I've been to car boot sales, jumble sales and any charity shop I can,to find the very elusive 100% cotton shirts that I can cut up and recycle. This wasn't as easy as you might think as the majority of men's shirts seem to be polyester mixes, I guess that's to keep the women happy that inevitably end up ironing them. Anyway I now have enough in shades of blues greys and reds to actually make a start.
